At Fit & Food, we have built a strong and supportive community and a safe and welcoming space for pre and postnatal women who are keen to follow a guided and expert pregnancy and postnatal programme around  pelvic health and exercise.


Postnatal Checks in Chiswick

Our in-house Specialist Women's Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and long-term Chiswick Physio Jade Rodham offers a 6-week postnatal check from our beautiful consultation room. This check is always recommended to help manage or prevent symptoms and create an individualised recovery plan.


The postnatal check includes a full assessment of the core cylinder, back/pelvis, abdominal wall for separation and an internal assessment of the pelvic floor.


*Everyone's pregnancy journey is different and the same goes for postnatal recovery*


Jade is available to carry out postnatal checks or follow-ups on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at Fit & Food.

Postnatal Exercise

It is always recommended that our clients receive a 6-week postnatal check from Jade before endeavouring to return to exercise. Once Jade has given the green light to return, our clients are then able to join our extensive offering of small group postnatal classes, 1:1 personal training and continued follow-up physiotherapy if required support.


All of our female personal trainers are pre and postnatal certified, ensuring you will always exercise safely and within the realms of your own level of ability and personal stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.

Postnatal Recovery Packages - Services Overview

Postnatal Educational Course

(6-consecutive weeks)

This course provides knowledge around the return to fitness after a baby and marks the beginning of your recovery process.


Includes breath work, tuning into your pelvic floor and core, building good foundations and understanding the basics.



Suitable from 1-2 weeks postpartum.

6-Week Postnatal Check

& Follow-Up

PN check is recommended 6-weeks PP or more, for any woman who has given birth. 1/2 the session is talking; 1/2 the session is the physical internal assessment. Find out more here.


At Fit & Food, we encourage this check before commencing any classes/PT.


Recommended 6-weeks postpartum or beyond.

Small Group Training

(6-consecutive weeks)


Limited to 6 people, these classes are the perfect way to carefully reintroduce training into your in a safe and effective manner.


Incorporating a range of movements using gym equipment, the classes are led by our expert postnatal certified PTs.


Suitable from 6-weeks postpartum / after sign off from a postnatal check.

1:1 Personal Training

(6-consecutive weeks)


A more personalised and bespoke option for your return to exercise, 1:1 personal training sessions are tailored to you and your own personal postnatal journey.


Great in tandem with small group training too if you would like to do both.


Suitable from 6-weeks postpartum / after sign off from a postnatal check.
